When every second and every watt counts, the Abus GameChanger 2.0 MIPS Helmet has been meticulously designed to be as slippery as possible no matter the direction of the wind, position of the riders head, or the speed travelled. An aerodynamic exterior shape with a wider rear end (compared to the original GameChanger) are the most notable features to reduce wind resistance, and the AeroBlade grid structure adapts to different wind conditions and speeds via a special grid structure to further optimize the airflow around the helmet. Even the straps have been re-designed to minimize flutter and turbulence. To prevent getting cooked, Forced Air Cooling Technology w/ an AirBoost Air Inlet sucks in enough of the incoming air and channels that airflow around the head to prevent overheating even in the hottest climates and/or the hardest efforts. A multi-shell in-mold design with ActiCage structural reinforcement ensure this helmet will last a long time and will protect the noggin should an accident unfortunately occur, and a MIPS Air Node system is integrated inside of the helmet to greatly reduce torsional forces on the head and neck in the event of a crash, providing even more protection. Finally, a highly adjustable Zoom Pro retention system with ponytail compatibility dials in the fit around the head, creating a wobble free fit that ensures the helmet stays in place.
