Reaver is the newest Maxxis tire designed for gravel racing. The low profile tread design uses diamond knurling to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip in dusty or slippery conditions. Spatula-shaped knobs in groups of three provide extra grip under hard braking. The side knobs are spaced apart and staggered to ensure continuity when cornering. There is a groove between the side knobs to allow them to flex and conform to the terrain, improving traction. Reaver is ideal for riders as it is faster, lighter and even more durable than Rambler. In mixed conditions Rambler is more versatile, but if off-road speed is your number one priority, Reaver is the best choice.
